About our company

Some of you long time San Diego residents may remember Gus Klindt Plumbing Co., which dated back to the early 1930's. The shop was based in Mission Hills on Reynard Way. The company was later sold to Jerry and Carol Brennan when Gus Klindt retired, Jerry was one of Gus's plumbers. Later, when Jerry and Carol (Jerry's wife & bookkeeper) retired, they sold the company in 1998 to David Ochs and Steve Franca, their plumbers. The company was then re-named G/K Plumbing & Heating Inc.

Both David and Steve are lifelong San Diegans and licensed journeymen plumbers for over 40 years, knowledgeable in all aspects of plumbing and heating, current technology and methods. Top quality service at fair & honest pricing is the cornerstone of our company.

In 2016, the Reynard Way property the plumbing shop stood on was sold, so David and Steve moved the company to the Morena Blvd. district near Rose Canyon.

We are eager to serve you for all of your plumbing and heating needs! Most of our business is word-of-mouth, we've known so many of you for decades! We've never had a need for gimmicky and expensive ads that YOU would end up paying for.
